I really enjoyed getting today’s Wall Street Journal update from Audible, as it had this gem of an article for my listening enjoyment. It was only a matter of time before Apple started fighting back against the Palm Pre in ways other than verbal slander. I can’t say it better than they did, so here’s the first sentence verbatim from this article:

Apple Inc. released an update to its iTunes software that blocks rival Palm Inc.’s Pre smart phone from accessing the online store.

Palm, did you really think Apple was going to do ANYTHING to help you put content onto your device? Really? REALLY REALLY? Nah.

So Palm Pre users, (if there are any of you that read this blog) here’s your warning – DO NOT UPGRADE your iTunes. Doing so will prevent you from syncing iTunes content to your device.
